Gina H. Kim, M.D.

As the comprehensive ophthalmologist for the Eye Care Center of Northern Colorado’s satellite office at the Exempla Hospital campus in Lafayette, Dr. Gina H. Kim is a comprehensive Eye Doctor focusing on cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, family eye care exams for glasses and contacts, and refractive surgery. She has been with the Eye Care Center since January 2005. Dr. Kim started her education by receiving a bachelor of arts from the University of California at Berkeley in 1993. She then went on to study at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana where she received a medical degree in June 1999. While in New Orleans, she completed an internal medicine internship at Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation and then moved right into the ophthalmology program at Louisiana State University/Ochsner. From July 2000 through June 2004 she was a resident physician at LSU. Dr. Kim is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
