Important Update: Good Days Chronic Disease Fund – 2025 Funding Shortage
We are writing to inform you of an important update regarding the Good Days Chronic Disease Fund (CDF) program, which has been instrumental in helping patients cover coinsurance costs for injections based on financial need.
Regrettably, due to a funding shortage, Good Days CDF is currently unable to accept new patients and is unable to fund existing patients, even if you have been approved for 2025. We understand that this news may be both unexpected and frustrating, and we want you to know that we are here to support you during this time.
Until additional funding becomes available, patients will be responsible for their coinsurance amounts at the time of their visit. As a Medicare provider, Eye Care Center of Northern Colorado is required by federal law to collect any unmet deductibles, and coinsurance amounts for Medicare and Medicare Advantage patients.
We recognize the importance of continuing your treatment and understand the concern this situation may cause. If you are worried about affording your coinsurance, please reach out to us. We strongly encourage you to keep your scheduled appointments, as alternative treatment options may be available. Our commitment to helping you find the best possible solution remains unchanged.
If you have any questions regarding your coverage, please contact Good Days CDF directly at 877-968-7233.
We will continue to monitor this situation closely and keep you informed as more information becomes available. Thank you for your understanding and for allowing us to be a part of your care.
Thank you
Eye Care Center of Northern Colorado
