Eye Care Center of Northern Colorado COVID-19 Update

EYE CARE CENTER OF NORTHERN COLORADO COVID-19 UPDATE SEPTEMBER 1, 2022

Due to the county-wide “low Covid infection rate” and a less dangerous dominant strain, we are no longer requiring the wearing of a face mask in our clinics with the following exceptions:

  • If a patient requests their specific doctor, technician, medical assistant or optician wear a mask, they will mask.
  • If a patient is experiencing mild symptoms, such as cough/runny nose, even if due to allergies, common cold, etc., they will be required to wear a mask for the comfort of those around them.
  • If a patient has Covid or is experiencing a significant level of the above-mentioned symptoms, we will reschedule the appointment.

Our first priority still remains the safety of our patients, staff and community. Therefore, we will continue to practice high standard health protocols, including frequent sanitizing, handwashing and wiping down exam rooms between patient visits.

Thank you for your understanding and patience as we continue to navigate through these days in Boulder County.
