Intacs are a much less-invasive treatment for kerataconus or Post-LASIK Ectasia. They have also been used to stabilize corneas made unstable from Radial Keratotomy (RK) incisions. If Keratoconus is advanced or the eye has scars in the visual axis, corneal transplantation may still be the best answer.
