Glaucoma and Cataract Surgical Specialist
Anjali Sheth, M.D. is a fellowship trained specialist in glaucoma and cataract surgery. She completed her undergraduate degree at New York University where she graduated magna cum laude with a major in Chemistry and minor in Mathematics and Middle Eastern Studies. She attended medical school at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey (now Rutgers Medical School) and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. She then moved to Washington, D.C. where she completed her ophthalmology residency at Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center. After residency, she moved to Houston, TX to complete her clinical and surgical glaucoma fellowship training at Baylor College of Medicine. She joined ECCNC in 2015.
Dr. Sheth specializes in the surgical and medical treatment of cataracts and glaucoma including: minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (Xen gel stent, Istent inject, hydrus stent, ECP, goniotomy), trabeculectomy, tube shunt, and CPC.
Dr. Sheth is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Glaucoma Society and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
She enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 young children and 2 goldendoodles. On her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling, hiking, crafting and baking.
