Elisha Tilton, M.D.

Surgical and Medical Retinal Specialist

Elisha Tilton, M.D. is a fellowship trained specialist in retinal disease and surgery, and a board certified ophthalmologist. Dr. Tilton graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in animal physiology and neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego. He taught English as a second language in Colombia and Japan before earning his medical degree at the University of Vermont where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society.

Dr. Tilton completed his surgical internship and ophthalmology residency at the University of Virginia. He then received two years of vitreoretinal fellowship training at the Lahey Clinic in Boston. Dr. Tilton has been involved in many clinical research trials in the treatment of macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal vascular occlusive disease. He specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of disorders of the vitreous, retina, macula  and ocular trauma. He is fluent in the Spanish language.
