Justin Kanoff, M.D.

Surgical and Medical Retinal Specialist

Justin Kanoff, M.D. is a fellowship trained specialist in retinal disease and surgery, and a board certified ophthalmologist. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia where he graduated summa cum laude with majors in biological basis of behavior and psychology. He attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He then moved to Boston where he completed his ophthalmology residency at Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. He was asked to stay on for an additional year and serve as chief resident and director of the ocular trauma service. After residency he stayed at Harvard Medical School to complete his two year fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery. Dr. Kanoff specializes in the surgical and medical treatment of vitreoretinal disorders, such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal vascular diseases, retinal detachment, and ocular trauma.

He lives in Longmont, Colorado with his wife and two children. He enjoys hiking, biking and ceramics.
