Our patient and staff safety is our priority. Nearly all staff is 100% vaccinated against COVID-19. We continue to practice CDC and American Academy of Ophthalmology protocols to require staff and patients to wear masks, sanitize frequently and wash hands. Throughout the pandemic, our first priority has been the safety of our patients, staff and community. We are taking every precaution possible to ensure that social distancing is maintained while patients are at our clinic.
We use a pager system when necessary and ask that all family members and friends wait outside, unless needed for patient mobility and/or proper communication. Of course, adults may accompany minor children.
Our waiting room follows social distancing guidelines to protect everyone’s safety. We have the following screening protocols:
- Temperature screening upon entry into the facility.
- Ask if they have symptoms?
- Ask if they have been with someone who is sick?
- All exam rooms and scanning equipment are wiped down between patients.
