Carl Noble, D.O. is a board certified retinal specialist in medical and surgical retina. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio State University, where he graduated with honors, and completed his medical school training at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. After his internship at Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda, MD Dr. Noble served in the United States Navy as a primary care physician and aviator with the Marine Corps. During this time, he also earned a Master’s in Business Administration degree at the University of California, San Diego.
After leaving the Navy, Dr. Noble pursued his ophthalmology residency training at George Washington University and served as Chief Resident in his final year. He then received vitreoretinal surgical sub-specialty training at the University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati Eye Institute under the tutelage of his renowned mentors.
Dr. Noble specializes in the surgical and medical management of vitreoretinal disorders such as epiretinal membranes, macular holes, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal vascular disease, retinal detachments, secondary intraocular lenses, ocular trauma and complications of cataract surgery.
