Robert Krone, is a licensed optometrist with the Eye Care Center of Northern Colorado, Robert Krone, O.D. provides comprehensive eye care at our Longmont and Lafayette offices. Dr. Krone focuses on ocular health and family eye care exams for glasses and contact lenses. He joined the Eye Care Center in February 2009. Dr. Krone began his education by receiving a Bachelor of Biology degree from Northern Illinois University in 1983. He then went on to study at Illinois College of Optometry where he received a Doctor of Optometry in May of 1988.

Dr. Krone practiced optometry in a large private practice in Evanston, Illinois. He was the team optometrist for Northwestern University’s athletic teams from 1996 – 2004. Upon moving to Colorado from Chicago, he became a member of the Colorado Optometric Association. Dr. Krone provides ocular care to patients of all ages and is experienced with cataract and LASIK evaluations.
